Nativity

This year we will be holding a Nativity/Christmas celebration for parents on 13th December at 1.45pm at Saint Anne’s church. Due to health and safety, we are restricting the event to 2 tickets per family (to be sent home shortly) and we are asking that any unwanted tickets be returned to the school.  The main issue in previous years has been the number of parents exceeding the amount allowed in the church and the blockage of escape routes due to buggies/prams.  Therefore, we will ensure that a safe space for buggies is available in the church hall where the Friends of Ambergate will be providing refreshments after the event.  Also, Friends will be holding their annual raffle competition. Please come and join us for a warming drink and cake after the event.

We know that the wider family enjoy attending the Nativity service, so we would like to welcome Grans and Grandads etc. to our dress rehearsal on Monday 11th December at 1.30pm in the church.

Children will be able to be taken from both events by parents and those not picked up will be walked back to school.

Harvest Festival 2017

Just a quick note to confirm our harvest festival service will be held on Thursday 19th October, 2-3pm, at the Methodist Chapel. This year we are again sponsoring the ‘Basic Idea’ project, which is part of the Hope for Belper Initiative. Further information about the project can be found at  www.hopeforbelper.com/projects/the-basic-idea.

Below is a list of the items that the team are looking to be donated to support local families. If you can help it will be greatly appreciated.

I would also like to remind you of our annual coffee morning this Friday (29th September 2017, 9.15-11.00am) in aid of MacMillan cancer support. Bakers and eaters are both required!
